I loved urban sketching in Greek tiny towns so much that I have quite a collection. So I will restrain myself and share my top 21 favourites. ( So much for restraining myself.)
I enjoyed an artists-in-residency in Heraklion, Crete. Not quite a tiny town, but the old neighbourhoods had the same character as venacular rural towns, and were most inspiring.
During one of the many ferry rides a fellow passenger took interest in my sketchbooks, and loved the sketches so much that she invited me to return the following year as her guest at her retreat on Kythnos Island, to sketch on the island, and have an exhibition at her retreat. How could I refuse.
