Marcel Baaijens created Sitdance in 1988. This seated dance programme for people in memory care is still being used today in New Zealand and Australia. This short TV-item (1989) on national television in New Zealand catipulted the use of Sitdance from a local to a national scale. Programmes are still available in a streaming format (think Netflix for Aged Care activities).
